Citizens’ Entitlements Campaign
To Enable People to Access 56 Civic Services with Ease
The Citizens Entitlements Campaign was launched on 26th January 2018 on the occasion of 69th Republic Day of India under the Theme ‘Let’s Celebrate Citizenship’ in 400 locations in Hyderabad and Secunderabad. The objective of the Citizens’ Entitlements Campaign is to enable citizens of Hyderabad and Secunderabad to easily avail 56 services that are provided by GHMC, Water Works and the Electricity Departments as part of their Citizen’s Charters.
The core objective of this year-long Campaign is to promote mass awareness about the services available and modalities for registering grievances and complaints with different departments using Phone calls, Mobile Apps, Facebook, WhatsApp etc. In case of failure to deliver any of these services in the stipulated time, the Campaign provides a mechanism through a mobile number (9959517766) or email (civiccomplaintshyd@gmail.com) to escalate the unattended requests and grievances to higher authorities through the Member Organisations for immediate redress.
The Partner Organisations for the Campaign are APSA, Arya Samaj, ATHMA, Basti Vikas Manch Hyderabad, CHATRI, CONARE, COVA, Dalit Stree Shakti, ICAN, Janani Foundation, Kriya Sangh Society, MARI, MSI, Nasheman Nagar Welfare Association, PUCAAR, POW, SUPER, Telangana Valmiki Samaj Pragati Sangh, and UFERWAS, WOW, Youngistan and Youth for Better Telangana.
