Citizens’ Enlightenment Campaign (CEC)
We solicit partnership and generous donations to take forward the Citizens Entitlements Campaign to enable common citizens of Hyderabad to easily access 56 essential civic services being offered by Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Water Works and Electricity Departments. This could improve their quality of life even as they are struggling to come out of the after effects of the Pandemic.
This can also help you to save on taxes even as you contribute to empowering citizens and transforming the city for better!
Past Achievement
COVA Peace Network in partnership with over 300 community organisations, Resident Welfare Associations, NGOs, Faith Groups, Schools, Colleges and Business Establishments had launched the Citizens Entitlements Campaign on 26th January 2018 with donations of Rs. 3 Lakhs! Within a period of 2 months the Campaign could reach over 2 lakh citizens of Hyderabad and GHMC reported an increase of 46.7% in the download of it’s APP during the Campaign!

Each with outreach to 250 people can be organized with your contribution. Your Donation of Rs. 20.000 can Enlist 200 citizens as active partners of the Campaign from 5 rallies. |
NGOs and Civil Society Organisations can organize Citizens Entitlements Campaigns in their own cities and towns by securing the Charters of the Municipal bodies, Water Works and Electricity Departments in their areas of operation. COVA can provide a Handbook for the implementation of the CEC Program upon request.
